Los Angeles Museum of Contemporary Art
The Los Angeles Museum of Contemporary Art (MOCA) was established in 1979. It houses one of the most compelling collections of contemporary art globally, with about 7,200 pieces. The museum also has a diverse selection of ground-breaking, historically significant exhibitions of art created post 1940. Current exhibitions include:

Kidspace is on 3.5 acres of both indoor and outdoor, interactive environments. The museum has special kids’ workshops every month for children between the ages of five and eight. Here are some classes to explore:
- Awesome Asteroid Art: Kids get to make their own asteroid displays using sculpting, painting and color theory techniques;

Griffith Observatory
You and your family can explore the universe at the Griffith Observatory. With a planetarium, exhibits and a park, this place – perched high on a hill above Hollywood – is a feast for the senses and you can easily spend a day here without your kids ever saying, “I’m bored.” The planetarium is an absolute marvel with every show presented live by an engaging storyteller.
