Each bottle represents the pinnacle of viticulture, promising an experience that transcends the ordinary and invites you to toast to the finer things in life.

Domaine de la Romaneé-Conti Montrachet Grand Cru

This exquisite, buttery, and complex Chardonnay from Cote de Beaune, France, consistently earns its place atop wine critics' "best of" lists. Domaine de la Romanée-Conti, or DRC, is Burgundy's most esteemed collectible wine producer. Situated in the charming village of Vosne-Romanée, this iconic domain offers wines from eight grand cru vineyards that span the length of the Côte d'Or. Its crown jewel, the Romanée-Conti vineyard wine, is renowned as the world's most expensive wine on average. From less than five acres of this prized land, only 6,000 bottles are produced annually.

The Montrachet Grand Cru captivates the palate with delicate hints of peach, apricot, citrus, and green apple intertwined with earthy notes of honey and smoke, culminating in a magnificent finish. This splendid wine pairs beautifully with pasta, rich fish such as salmon and tuna, shellfish, mild and soft cheeses, and cured meats, making it an exceptional addition to any gourmet meal. The average price for a Domaine de la Romanée-Conti Montrachet Grand Cru bottle is USD$11,969.

If you are thinking about a trip to France and are looking to make Paris your vacation base, the stunning Townhouse La Maison on Ile Saint Germain on the River Seine is only a couple hours of a beautiful drive from Vosne-Romaneé where you can visit DRC and investigate this wine yourself. It offers discretion and is just a romantic boat ride away from the historical part of the city. The gorgeous indoor area represents a combination of industrial style and urban elegance. Modern and minimalist design is enhanced with velvet furnishings adorned with silver textures. This townhouse accommodates ten people and offers four sumptuous bedrooms of utmost comfort and luxury. The most remarkable features are a music room, wine cellar, fitness room, and spa. A compelling swimming pool dominates the deck, alongside the garden and access to the river Seine.

It is high-toned with gorgeous texture, fresh peach, Mosel-like acidity, a touch of oak, and remarkable intensity and length. The price for a 2018 Screaming Eagle Sauvignon Blanc bottle is roughly USD$4,078.

Teso La Monja

This wine is made by Sierra Cantabria, a producer specializing in all things Tempranillo. Tempranillo is a red grape variety grown in Spain and Portugal, the backbone of some of the best Spanish wines. It produces red wines with red fruit and leather, oak and ripe fruit aromas, high tannins, moderate to low acidity, and moderate alcohol. The color of Teso La Monja is an intense cherry; the palate is powerful, flavorful, and toasty with a long finish.

The Sierra Cantabria estate has been crafting exceptional wines in Rioja since 1870, a legacy that has been carefully nurtured through five generations and now encompasses six wineries. Among these esteemed locations, the Teso La Monja estate in Toro stands out prominently. For over a decade, this site has been producing wines that have captured the imagination and admiration of connoisseurs worldwide. A bottle of this fine red costs about USD$1,222.

The magnificent Son Bunyola in Mallorca is less than an hour from Toro, where this wine is produced. It would be the fitting place to stay while visiting several of Spain’s rich wineries. Château Haut Brion Blanc

Château Haut Brion Blanc is one of Bordeaux's most excellent dry white wines, equivalent to top-flight grand cru white Burgundy. It offers a complexity merging Sauvignon's crisp fruitiness with Semillon's smooth mellowness. Of the five first growths, it is the only wine with the Pessac-Léognan appellation and is the ancestor of a classification that remains the benchmark. The first records of Haut-Brion wine were found in the wine cellar ledger of England’s King Charles II in 1660. However, documents dated 1521 show wine being produced here since at least 1426, making Haut-Brion Bordeaux’s oldest winery. The average retail price of a Château Haut Brion Blanc bottle is about USD$927.
