The Only Guide You’ll Need For Palm Springs

August 02, 2018

When you’re not visiting Southern California for Coachella, stop by Palm Springs for some more picture-perfect moments! Just because you’re in the desert, doesn’t mean there isn’t a lot to do! For those who are ready to take in the perfect weather and stunning scenery of Palm Springs, here is the only guide you will need on your sunny vacation.

Palm Canyon Drive

The adventures start in Palm Canyon Drive! This downtown area is where you will find anything and everything – from galleries to restaurants and a whole lot of shopping. If you aren’t exactly sure what you’re in the mood for, this is a great spot to check out a little bit of everything. There is no doubt that you will find what you’re looking for!

Palm Springs Art Museum

Art lovers beware, for you might find yourself spending the whole day at the Palm Springs Art Museum. The museum is devoted to regional art, performing arts and natural science. The art collections range from contemporary art to art glass and sculptures. If you are more into natural science, the collections cover archeology, biology and geology. Don’t forget to stop by the Annenberg Theater for a performance or two!

Palm Springs VillageFest

If you are lucky enough to be in Palm Springs on a Thursday night, you must go to VillageFest. It is Palm Springs’ street fair, filled with art, entertainment, food and shopping! Everything is open late just so everyone can enjoy the shops a little longer during the event. Show your appreciation for the art and food vendors as they display their works for you! There is no need to worry about being bored because there is a variety of entertainers waiting to show off their talents.

Moorten Botanical Garden

This family-owned garden is home to over 3,000 plants arranged by geographic region. The plants you’ll see are from various countries, such as Baja California, Mexico and Guatemala! Be able to experience the nature that comes from this desert area. The garden is so breathtaking, some even have their weddings here!

Yoga in the Park

Find your zen at the Wellness park in Ruth Hardy Park. Power Yoga Palm Springs offers a one hour class outside, in the beautiful natural setting of Palm Springs. As you downward dog, you can experience the amazing views of the San Jacinto Mountain! The yoga class is donation-based and open to everyone!
